Default More Ports of Call.

I don't know about you but wouldn't you like to see more ports of call. This would be like going from KC to Droks instead of going through LA all the time as there are 2 big main ports in Tyria those being LA,Droks and Amnoon. You could have more than one in Elona and Cantha as well.

i'd be more in favor of type location in or a mini map would appear of were you want to go to as i very rarly want ot og to kama,KC or LA so its just a lay over.

but anything is welcomed^^

Yup good idea

More ports to go to and or the ability to view the whole world map and jump anywhere.
I would have thought this would reduce the choke points I seem to experience when changing between the 3 games.

I would definitely be in favor of this, if for no other reason then LA is much lower in level then the respective ports in Factions, and even though Kamadan is the newbie area of Nightfall, you quickly get a mission to travel to the mainland, which is much more appropriate.

The only other suggestion I would make would be to be able to simply pull up the world map of any campaign you won, and simply allow direct travel from 1 place to the other (between campaigns).

It would be handy, but its these ports that nake these trading hubs, which help you to sell/buy the things you need. And i think saving a few seconds while you map isnt worth the potentialy huge effect this could have on trade.

I hate zoning through LA, Kam and Kaineng.

It's freaking ridiculous. Normally I stay in International to avoid the crowds but that so didn't work today with a flood of people in LA and Kam Int.

Solve the problem, open a trade hub near the isle of the nameless pvp area. ANYONE can map there. Also add more hubs droks and LA should be fine, then add one more in each map. I personally could care less about trade. I hate the HUGE and I mean huge lag experienced just trying to go from one game to the other. thats even if you remember to change districts to KC 8 or something.

I like the idea. Also, GW:EN seriously needs at least one, because come on, we got that huge portal leading to Boreal Station - an absolutely useless location beyond first visit. If it took us straight to Eye of the North (if unlocked) it would at least make some sense.

That's why you hide in the European Italian/Russian/German districts hehe.

Yeah. All Town outposts should be in the travel list.

(To avoid crowds, try Polish. Not a soul)

Easy solution: Add asuran gates to Cantha and Elona, and from Cantha to Elona. They already exist to Tyria, and wouldn't be hard to link to at least the main towns.

Another major bonus to being able to choose another port is for when traveling in groups. If a group is formed in a high-end zone in Nightfall, and decides to go do a mission in Tyria, they lose 2 members in the process. If travelling to Elona, you lose 4.

This would be solved better by the ability to flip through the 3 maps (maybe like pages in a book like those in EotN? Could be pretty neat) wherever you are. Then, you could travel to any location in one click.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It does get annoying trying to get somewhere and going through certain towns to do so. But of course it should only be for towns that you've unlocked, not every single one on the map. Either way, signed.

I would rather see a world map of all 3 campaignes that would let me choose anywhere to go.

Really i just want a completed World map showing how they all connect.

Yeah, that would be the better solution.

I would like to see how it all connects as well. Assuming Cantha isn't too far south.

I would like this feature too. I think the only reason it is the way it is is to make sure people go to the right location when going from one campaign to another for the first time (for quests sake). But if they would just add the major ports to your list as you access them, that would solve that problem. I'm for it. I'm sick of having to hang out in international to avoid the lag too.

Droks does have a port...
Or instead of Droks, maybe Portsledge, now that's a port!
Then I'm not sure about the Factions campaign...
The opposing factions don't even have a big body of water...
There's a forest of stone, good luck getting a ship there, then there's a sea of jade.... uuuuuuhhhhhhhh.
Then for Nightfall, any coastal town...

Still not absolutely sure.

I don't think the trade would be effected as bad as some people are making it out to be.
